CHOICE MUSIC EVENTS

Choice Music Events is the performance division of The Foundation For Music Education. Choice Music Events provides educationally-based performance events for bands, choirs, and orchestras. By offering events ranging from competitive adjudicated festivals to nationally promoted concerts, Choice Music Events is able to provide performance opportunities for ensembles of every age and caliber. Choice Music Events is continually searching for innovative ways to improve and expand its product offerings without losing the ideals that have made current events successful.

About Our Events

Showcase of Music festivals provide bands, choirs, and orchestras with a positive and educationally sound performance opportunity.

The National Youth Concert provides outstanding high school bands, orchestras, and choirs with an opportunity to perform in one of the world's finest performance venues. By sharing a concert with other top ensembles, participating groups will be ensured that they perform for a knowledgeable and respectful audience.

The Performance of Record event offers instrumental groups a quality performance and recording opportunity. The event is non-adjudicated and each venue will have a pre-selected recording engineer. Normal concert attire is required. A public concert with a combined event program listing for each group will be held using the TMEA Honor Band/Orchestra guidelines.

The Remember The Heroes concert series offers performing groups the opportunity to pay tribute to United States military heroes by way of a patriotic public performance in the shadows of the USS Arizona Memorial and USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

The Honors Concert Series offers top university music programs the opportunity to create a once-in-a-lifetime performance experience. Every aspect of the concert is customized to fit the exact needs of the ensemble and institution. Choice Music Events is able to produce concerts in any venue. From Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House, the sky is the limit!

The Mark of Excellence recorded music contest offers bands, choirs, and orchestras the unprecedented opportunity to earn national recognition for their musical achievement.

The Chamber Choir Festival provides chamber choirs with 12-32 singers an adjudicated festival followed by a clinic with a renowned clinician. Performances will take place at First Methodist Houston. Group photos and recordings will be offered to each performing ensemble.
